Poor customer support and like a Sarkari bank

Though HDFC was never my first choice of opening an account but since my company pays salary in HDFC, I had to open an account with HDFC.


Recently, I needed the credit card statements of my card for 2013-14 time period so I requested with the bank to provide the same to me, customer support team said that it is a paid service and you will have to pay INR 120 or 150 for each statement and it will be delivered to your email and address within next 4-5 days,


I said ok but even after 7 days of my request, I received nothing from the bank then I called them up but again no delivery. Each time I called them up, they said they will deliver it within 2-3 days but those 2-3 days never came.then I posted this over twitter and within 24 hours, they delivered the statements to my address but still no sign of statements in my email.


I again called them up and they said that they will do it within next couple of days but again nothing happened.after all this, I had to convert the hard copies into soft copies and then shared it with my CA. After almost one month, they have sent it in my email. Really pathetic service.never ever open your account in this bank.other banks are far more quick and they don’t behave with you like sarkari babus!
