I am a software engg. I work in b’lore.on 17th of aug when I was looking through my wallet I noticed that my credit card is not there.
When I called hdfc bank my worst nightmare came true one guy has used my credit card for 25k.Then immediately i blocked the creditcard and registered a complain in police station and with the bank.That guy has done all the shopping in b’lore only on 14th and 15th of august.i filled up the dispute form available with HDFC and submitted to them.
But since then I have not heard from BANK.I hope they would be taking appropiate steps at there own end.they have said to me that they will investigate the matter and come back to me.As far as I am concern investigation should be fast as I am going through a mental trauma and it is the responsibilty of the bank to enforce appropiate security measues so that noone can swipe the credit card just like that.
