Had a very bad experience with HDFC for taking home Loan. Some of the points:
They took more than one month in closing the process, though they promise maximum 8-10 days
They pressurized for signing the documents, which can not be legally tenable. Worst of all was - taking an UNDATED SIGNED CHEQUE of the whole Loan amount. Wonder- why someone will take loan, if person has the whole loan amount in the bank.
They also took sign on an undertaking, that I can not ask for any document for Xerox purposes, if required in any unforeseen conditions
Very bad and humiliating experience. Will avoid HDFC for sure in future.
