Its not too long since I became the member of this bank, but I must say it very useful n convenient bank. it has host of services to provide to its customers. while public sector banks usually charge for value added services like interbranch banking etc this bank doesnt charge a penny for its services also the cheques are delievered at par everywhere.its has opened a website ’my value shop’ only for hdfc customers. I have an account with this bank at ludhiana, first I went to icici bank but I was shocked the way treated me so atlast I opened my account in this bank. also recent survey of ’business today’ shows that its no. 1 bank rite now in our country. also in north it has more branches than any other private bank, but I am not sure bout its branches in rest of india. it has only one negative point we have to maintain a minimum balance of rs5000 otherwise we charged very hefty amount as service charges. otherwise everything is ok
