Based on my experience as an individual with savings account, I like the following things about this bank:
Courteous customer service
Excellent phone, internet and mobile banking
Internet banking is not very exciting, but it gets the job done
Great fixed deposit rates. The best in the industry.
Great products under one roof - credit cards, non-housing loans, insurance, stocks, mutual funds, RBI bonds, etc
Things that I don’t like about them:
Most branches don’t deal with Foreign currencies.
Not too many ATMs all over the country.
Housing loans are not provided by the bank! Housing loans are managed by a separate company called HDFC. The bank is called HDFC bank !
