This is not about the website of HDFC but it is about the service they provide(Could not find appropriate category to write the review, so writing here only). me and my friend opened Demat account with HDFC some one year back. now my friend lost the password because of the complexities involved like changing password every now and then, including upper case, lower case , numerics and what not.
So he went to the bank and asked them to provide him the new password. Since then the odyssey started, first they typed the wrong address, then they were having the wrong email of him with them as the "registered email-id". They kept toying with him like a ball. They sent the password to the wrong address although he clarified his address twice but they could not understand his English, I guess. Finally after three months of turmoil when he threatened them to dissolve his account with the bank, the very next day he got a mail saying that we will be sending your password on phone.
God help this country, why people stretch the things till the point of fatigue? Had it been done on the very first attempt, I would not have been writing this stupid thing about them here. So next time all of you dont request them, simply threat them and they will work properly.
