The highest word to describe sorrow ? Anyway, Ive lost patience and any word even sounding like HDFC gets on my nerves.
Way back in 1998 when I started an account, they were pouring out hospitality, eagerness, willingness to help and all the blah blah of customer service. Whenever I walked into the bank(those time, ATM was delivering limited services only), the staffs were focused on the real customer service.
After HDFC acquired the government contract for accepting the cheques to be processed for all government employee salaries, their arrogancy has grown up and they are totally ignoring common people.
I totally agree with one statement that, the people at help desk will definetly ignore you while we stand looking pitily if someone would come to help us. I was desperately searching for a good bank, luckily my company had account with ABN Amro and I got one there. At the peak of frustration, I closed the account at HDFC after 4 years of so called service.
In this aspect, ABN Amro is far better, and are several steps ahead to HDFC.
