I was a customer of HDFC bank. The service is very slow, Atms dont work at times. They dont process on time. Hardly available when we need them. Bank braches close at 4 unlike ICICI Bank or others.
Honestly we put money in bank coz it is not safe to keep cash with us. what is the use to keep it in bank if we dont get it when we wanted.
When you calll up at helpline that also takes time, helplines are shut on Saturdays and sundays which another reason for my backout from the bank. Basically the services are poor.
they even dont have a co-operative staff for us.
One of my incidence which took my interest from the bank is as follows I was supposed to change my address they told me to go to the branch I hold the account and first change there and then they will do the needful, now tell me in out busy life who has that kind of time. I better opte to change ther bank account. where as this same was done thru ICICI within 2 working days thru only phone banking.
They charge extra to stop our bank statements which is send to us free of cost coz they have to actually put an extra effort in doing so god knows what extra effort they must be putting, where in other banks one letter to the branch manager does the needful.
I was so fedup that I opted to actually close the account even that took ages, can you imagine.
these are my personal experience I can prove each and every problem I mentioned are the real problems I faced.
To all this there is one more addition I want a friend to deposit money in my account coz it was really urgent for me, in this whole thing I was not aware about one silly policy of HDFC bank that a person can deposit money in my account only if he deposits it in the home branch rest of the branches can only accept cheques, isnt this disgusting guys!!!! My account and still I have to face these hindrances....
