HDFC BANK HAS CROSSED ITS LIMITS WHEN DEALING WITH CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS.
Today I went to the ATM to withdraw some money and to my dismay I found that it was in Negative balance.
I immediately called up Customer care, and a lady picked up the call. It took me almost 10 frustrating minutes to make her understand what was happening. Then she finally transferred the call to her supervisor as she had no clue what I was talking.
Then comes the best part. The supervisor checked my account and said that there was a outstation cheque credited to my account and it is showing in the ledger balance, which is true.
But I asked her what happened to my savings money which was already there in my account, which right now shows in negative figures.
She gave a SHOCKER OF MY LIFE.
She said since there was a delay in transferring the money from the outstation cheque branch, sothey have HOLDED the exact cheque amount from my savings.
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD THIS HAPPENING WITH A BANK. IT HAS JUST HAPPENED.
I JUST DONT KNOW WHO IN THIS WORLD HAVE GIVEN RIGHTS TO A BANK TO MESS UP UP WITH OUR SAVINGS ACCOUNT. THE BEST PART IS, i WAS NEVER INFORMED ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS.
IF THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN CREDITING THE OUTSTATION CHEQUE , ALL THEY CAN DO IS EITHER STOP THE CREDIT OR CANCEL THE CREDIT, BUT THEY HAVE NO RIGHTS TO TOUCH OUR SAVINGS ACCOUNT WITHOUT OUR CONSENT.
CUSTOMERS ARE NOT PUPPETS, TREAT THEM PROPERLY "HDFC BANK"
GUYS PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH HDFC BANK WHEN DEALING WITH CREDITING OF OUTSTATION CHEQUES TO YOUR ACCOUNT. THEY ARE CHEATERS......THEY MIGHT HOLD YOUR ACCOUNT ANY TIME THEY WISH TO DO SO......
