Having account for more then 6 years and being a Classic customer, HDFC does not believe in personal relation with the customer, everything automated, any query have to go to NET Bank or Phone Bank, they will raise ticket & resolve after 7 working days, by that time our problems we ourselves resolve.
If sign mismatch they do not even bother to inform & chq is return with heavy penalty, it atleast takes them 3 days to clear simple cheque. They do not have time to acknowledge the deposit slip & we have to drop the cheque in the box only. If they have many customers & little staff, please request them not to take new business. Even a small cooperative bank clears cheque in 2 days & inform us for any discrepancy.
I think the banking authoritative should hear the grievance & have policy to update the customer about the status.
