I recently had a conversation with the HDFC Bank creditcard collection agent which left a bad taste in my mouth. In general, heres what they do:
Thuggish follow up skills
No idea of polite behavior
Call at odd hours
Speak rudely to family members
Keep jamming your cellphone and home phone with calls
The worst part however is theres no single person in HDFC Bank you can complain to about this. Their customer care is a joke--when I ask the Line be transferred to the manager/higher authority, they say "we can give you an email id." I tried that but they dont even acknowledge theemail let alone respond to it.
Ive dealt with at least 3 Credit card folks but HDFC takes the cake for the worst of bad behavior and pathetic service. Have you faced a similar situation with HDFC Bank? If yes how have you dealt with it? Also, what are my options for redress? In a line: STAY AWAY FROM HDFC BANK CREDIT CARDS
