I had wriiten a review of my first HSBC Bank card some years back. Since then I have had many credit cards from Banks like CitiBank, Standard Chartered and HDFC. From all these I have used my HDFC Gold card the most. Reasons for the same are as follows.
Firstly they had provided me with a veru efficient and couersteous service at the time of apllying for the card. All documentation required was clearly explained and wriiten out. Once my form was submitted I didn’t need to call back to them even once and my card was delivered within 3 weeks.
Then also since last three years that I have had this card they have always offered the best interest rates and discount schemes for many establishments. Their phone staff is always helpful and solve any problems immediately. Compare this to ICICI Bank where they billed me for a card I had not applied for and did not recieve!!! I think so far my experience with HDFC has been very smooth.
Also they have been upgrading my credit limit over time without me having to ask for it based on my usage pattern. Now they have even given me a titanium card with added benefits free for life.
All in all I’m very satisfied with my HDFC card and have even cancelled other bank cards as I’m using this one almost exclusively for all my needs.
