I was offered an HDFC Gold Credit Card by the HDFC Bank few years back. Previously I was using ICICI Credit Card. ICICI Credit Card is naturally the best as they are advanced technically. The main problems with HDFC Bank Gold Credit Card are
1) 3% Foreign Currency Conversion Rate: this is totally unreasonable. 3% is quite a big amount. If you are going to use your Credit Card for International Transactions, then you must stay away from this HDFC Credit Cards.
2) Payment credits do not reflect immediately: It happens instantaneously with ICICI. It takes upto 2 days in HDFC
3) Point Reward System: This is only for name sake. You can do nothing with HDFC Credit Card Points. First of all the points value is too low and secondly the browser exits every time you want to convert the points to something
Worst credit card. Don’t ever get this. Icici or even canara bank cards are better
