False Promise

One of the guys at the branch sweet talked me into applying for a Silver Card. At that time he promised me that this card will come to me absolutely free. Without any annual fees or membership fees. Not only that he promised me that the credit limit shall twice as that of my existing ICICI card. After a month I received this card but credit limit fixed was same as that of ICICI Card. After one month I receive a statement with an annual fee of 500 rupees. I tried to contact that person. But he was not there. He has simply vanished.


This bank has a very high employee turnover. You can never talk to the same person twice. At every ocassion there will be a new face greets you.


The credit card has no toll free no. You have to make long distance calls (STD) to metros for any sort of assistance or inquiry. The branch people do not answer your queries. Not only that the lines at the call center always remain busy. And they close down after 8 PM.


The credit card has no internet facility. No email statement. No online balance checking.
