This is regarding the recent incident I fall for repayment of the overall 45 K due amount for a month. I paid the 18K within the due date and remaining before the billing date i.e only 8 days after the due that.
They’ve charged 1400 as the interest charges. I don’t know on what basis they calculate it.
When I called their customer care(some Neha) she just sounded stupid and tried to raise her voice and was very very rigid on what she was talking. No customer service intention at all.
It sucks and I regret going for this card after paying 1400 as a penalty. I’ve paid the overall amount and in process of getting out of Citibank Credit card hell.
I’m using Citibank Platinum card for last 8 years and never faced this kind of circumstances with them. Their customer care is supportive their service is much much better than HDFC guys.
