First of all I am surprised seeing some positive reviews on HDFC credit card. I would say they have neither used any other credit cards or not sure the actual benefits of having a credit card. I am using HDFC credit card since three years and I would say its the worst credit card I have ever seen. then you may ask why I am still using it.?
Its just because I have a loan on credit card and its tenure is 24 months. I have two other credit cards - Citi Bank Rewards and also CitiBank Indian oil. Both cards are amazing and you would get the recwards for every penny you spent. and redemption also its simple, and you have the cash back option against the credit card.
wherein HDFC they charge you for every redemption and also no cashBack. and they have very less merchandises associated with so the coupon also of no use.
believe it or not, they may be the only one who still charges annual maintenance fee even if you purchased more than a Lakh. Worst card ever.! I would say Citi Rewards is one of the best card you can have in your wallet.
