I am using HDFC credit card since 2 years. The billing name mentioned is wrong and name on credit card is correct. When I called customer care and asked them to correct this. I got a shocking answer saying that I need to fax any identity card where my name is mentioned correctly. If this is the procedure. why they have mentioned correct name on card.And at the time of application I have given the id proof and address proof. I feel really sorry people using still this type of banks in India. And I recommend people not use this type not upgraded banks.
I have ICICI bank credit card, where I am able to piece of mind. This ICICI bank offers all corrections through phone banking or internet. And customer care people are at ICICI bank they understands the banking system. Where as at HDFC bank, they do not know basics of banking.
Now I am planning to change my address, if I approach HDFC for change of address, I feel they may ask me fax the photograph of house with me and attested by Chief Minister.
