In my life, I had never written any review. But HDFC credit card service has made it happen. If you are not used to read to much, request you to go through POWER POINTs at Bottom!
EXPERIENCE:
- I am a Software Engineer by profession. While working in office, got a call from HDFC credit help desk asking(rather begging) me to have this service. 6 to 8 times they called me on the same topic describing all fantasies & some awesome features [which had never exists or they seized to exists as soon as I took card]. So after accepting this card [4617 860 0332 4605 Platinum Plus] in month of FEB2013, day by day I started getting surprises.
My many of my card transactions got declined after first few successful transactions even tough there was NO DUE. So when tried to call HDFC credit card help desk, the telephonic reply was "All the customer service representative are busy at the moment, please try after some time!" The care number given on card was Pune-66034332. Now HDFC had transferred this service to 61606161, but still the problem is same.
Now, somewhere in mid year, I had to put a thought(as customer care was out of reach) that it might have happened because of my less card expenses [Rs. 6K/Month], so even after on increasing my card expenses, I faced problem ofCARD DECLINE &NO Availability of Customer Care Service.
Finally, CARD Declination forced me having transaction over my personal savings account(SBI) & I hope even ull also agree that this is WORST Credit service.
ALL THE BEST(from bottom of my heart) to those who want/wish/need to avail HDFC Credit service!
Going to return this card tomorrow(22 NOV 13), unfortunately a luring card will be returned in pieces. Hopefully, I will make tomorrow a memorable day for THE representative sitting there.
POWER POINTS:

HDFC Help Desk agents will reach you only when they requests you to use their CARD Service.
These agents creates a Havoc my firm & several other, by calling working professionals on their company provided land-line numbers[for official purpose]
In need, If you try to reach Customer care, they are UNREACHABLE.
Many a time your transactions will get declined unreasonably, which will irritate & may force you to face some hard time.
Making Payments even just before due date, will cost you dues [Even tough transaction starts before due date]
There will be some hidden charges in bill [Even after assurance by customer representative for NO HIDDEN Charges]
Reward Point Scheme is pathetic: you have to redeem through few available options they have provided [Not at all useful].
HDFC DONT provide actual 24X7 customer support. This is most irritating one.
If you succeed to reach customer care, THE representative will never provide the clarifications that you ask for.
Petrol points & Movie tickets offers are not valid for almost all theaters.
SUGGESTIONS

If any agent ask you for any credit card, make him email you all the promises that he makes.
If possible, Record your customer care telephonic conversations
Always check bill for any faulty transaction.
If required, seek help & Launch a complaint in Consumer court if Branch Executive do not respond towards a valid satisfaction.
