My first experience with HDFC platinum card that I own, has been my worst and made me to write this review. I wished to keep a card only for the purpose of using it for any online transactions. I tried using it today as my dad needs an air ticket booked. On trying to authorize payment HDFC asked me to authenticate for their master card secure code, and it failed informing that my cell # as per their records was wrong. I called cust service, and they validated and told the number was the same as what I tried with. They told me to wait for 24 hours for them to figure out why the system doesn’t allow me through.
Bottomline, I need to borrow my friend’s card to get the booking done today.
Am planning to cancel this card and thought my review would help others who might be looking for a cc.
