Please don’t compromise on your vehicle insurance because Hdfc ergo is offering a less rate. The service is pathetic. I met with an accident and my car was damaged while I frantically was calling thier toll free number. No one pics and it automated system said I will receive a call back due to high volume within half hour. By 6pm as I stood on the road the voice message claimed office is closed for the day.? I had to go through the same ordeal the next day. Additionally the guy from Hdfc ergo says he sent an attachment via email which he failed to do and when I called him back from the internet parlor he says he would wazup me and dumped the phone? Do you want to go through this during an accident? What’s the purpose of an insurance and the best part is they sent an online survey of the service.
