I request you to never ever take insurance policy from HDFC ERGO. It is a simple message to all of you from me. I bought a new Chevy 2 months ago. However, I met with a minor accident few days back. Another car hit me from left and I crashed into a sewer.
My front bumper is damaged from the bottom. Suddenly a three wheeler hit me from behind when I took right cut, he was just behind me actually and could not control. It was carrying long pipes which crashed my back glass. Now I simply claim my insurance policy# 2311200706055800001, surveyor came to the workshop and decided not to approve the bumper because according to him a car cannot have damages like this.
I argued for the repair of my car’s front bumper but they are not listening to me. In fact they said I should have taken the picture on the spot which I never knew and not necessary as per their terms and conditions. I do not recommend anybody for HDFC ERGO. Please beware of them. I am very disappointed from HDFC ERGO.
