I wish there was a way rate this company below 1 . I have / had a motor insurance with this company for the last 3 yrs. Their claim settlement is so tedious & involves hostile agents, whose sole purpose is to deny you your claim. There were two claims in the last three years. Both involved less than the insurance amount.
Now when I wanted to renew the claim it was denied, as I had put in two claims in the last two years. I called up a week before the expiry of the insurance there was no response. Again I called up two days ago when it was informed that my insurance cannot be extended.
Why was it that I was not informed about my unwelcome status? Another thing is that HDFC ONLY WANTS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY, THE WOULDNT WANT TO PAY ANY CLAIMS. So as long as you are paying the premiums and not putting any claims welcome to HDFC ERGO.
