Like many who have reviewed HDFC Std Life Insurance on mouthshut, even my experience is bad. Their Young star Suvidha(YSS) seems a failure. No one seems to know anything about it. We were approached by their Bank manager who, with too much persuasion & friendliness made us(me & my brother) buy YSS. Every time we pay the premium, we discover we’re paying into a black hole. Their smses say that if the premium is not paid in time, late payment will be charged; when it’s not so. `HDFC should throw light on their plans to confirm if they are in any way favorable.Can anyone who knows whether this fund is worth exiting or keeping, throw light? Or can we all aggrieved come together to fight it out?
