I had applied for a Term Policy Click2 Protect+ from HDFC Life thinking that it was a reputed company but my nightmares started since then.
It is now more than 2 weeks and I havent received a single call from them. I had to repeatedly follow up with the call center.
Even though I had uploaded all the documents in the online form, I was told to further upload more documents after my signature and photo. I did so but I still havent heard from them. Instead I got a call from a call center representative who was not sure what she was talking about. She was asking me to drop a email to say that I had no reports. When I asked what reports were expected from me, She had no idea!
The call center is noisy and you cannot hear them speak. The call center representatives are not at all trained and have no knowledge of the product or what is expected from the customer.
I have heard from other on how fast policies are issued by other companies. I was under a delusion that HDFC Life is a reputed company. I will certainly not recommend it to anyone while I am still waiting for my nightmare to end.
