My HDFC life advisor lured me to an investment policy in and finally made me to take an HDFC Life policy. However, when I got the policy and read the terms and conditions, I didn’t agree and sent the policy docs and a letter requesting to cancel the same within 15 days.
However, they didn’t acknowledged nor sent a reply. After a month I called them up and I was told they received and it could not be processed and didnlt give any satisfactory reasosn. After trying for withn teh customner service numbe rmultiple times for 3 months, finally I went to teh branch to lodge a hard copy complaint. Finally they agreed and asked me to fill in another form to cancel the policy (this procedure was never informed to me by the advisor or the customer service).
And finally, I got the money after 6 months with some deduction of charges. they didn’t give any interest for the money held by them. I decided not to do any business with HDFC Life. I also got few of the policies taken by my son, canceled.
