I decided to opt for HDFC Life term insurance plan on April 2012. At first after reviewing the feedback in Mouthshut, at one moment I thought it’s not worth taking HDFC Life Insurance , but wait I saw the review of other Term insurance & it’s equally bad. So I decided to take this risk ( by the way one of my friend given me a good feedback as he had taken one).
On April 1st week 2012 I applied online & after a week or so I posted all the required documents to there office. After a week I got a call for medical check at nearest clinic in Powai. I had taken the test in same week it’s almost end of April.
Then I waited for any response from HDFC. After around 10 day perhaps around May 10th I called the customer care to ask about the status & hurray they told me that My policy is issued on the same day & I will get the mail & documents within a week. And in the same week I got all the documents.
So overall it took around 5 Week for entire process (including delay of week from my end).I don’t know about other guys , but for me HDFC Life Term Insurance was a right choice that paid off.
