I had taken HDFC Life policy from HDFC Bank branch and one of its executives asked to get this policy. The policy was for 10 years with annual premium of Rs.1, 50, 000. The policy was issued to me stating all the terms and conditions after a month. This executive didn’t brief me about all the terms and conditions of this policy. I had a job by that time and paid Rs. 1, 50, 000 as premium. After a year I lost the job and couldn’t afford paying the premium. I asked for the refund and was flatly refused asking me to refer to the terms and conditions of the policy. The terms and conditions were written in a very small font size and not readable and somehow it missed my attention. I lost the money and all my efforts were in vain and they told that to make the policy active I should pay atleast for 3 years. I urge readers to be careful and cautious of this HDFC Lifepolicy.
