I went to HDFC insurance just because of good experience with HDFC home loan. But I got very bad and frustrating experience from insurance company.
Even after 2 months, my policy proposal was not processed. But my premium was deducted within first week itself! During these 2 months, they just kept asking about some new document every other week. When I gave all documents, they misplaced them and kept my proposal on hold.
When I lodged a formal complaint, they took 7-8 days just to give a automatic mail response that, they have started looking at my complaint! And at the end, they called me and told that I have to pay extra Rs. 5000 premium!
I had to follow-up with their officers all the time. Their branch manager didn’t take any action on all these delays. My complaint was never resolved. Never go to this unprofessional insurance company. LIC is 100 times better than them!
