Stay away from HDFC.. Pathetic and fraudulent

This is with regards to my complain HDFCSL=007-343-787.


I have applied for term insurance "Click to protect 3D plus plan" and got application id 1200060325127 in the month of February 2020. Initially I had been asked to undergo a basic medical check up which was scheduled at my home. After completion of proposal form and document submission they raised additional couple of tests to be taken. But since march because of pandemic and lockdown everything got on hold.


Later in the month of August the HDFC team again called me to reschedule my remaining medical checkups which the got scheduled in the month of September and completed on 18th sep.


After two days of medical check-up I followed up with the HDFC team about the further process and if anything else required from my side. I was assured that nothing is required from my end as medical reports are successfully accepted and a final decision will be made in a week. The same will be updated on your online dashboard.


But today(28th Sep.) when I logged in again, I was shocked to see that my policy got cancelled. When I called customer care to know the reason, I have been told that this is an auto cancellation due to aging i.e. more that 100 days.


Now if I go with 100 days logic then my policy would have been cancelled in the month of June itself but that did not happen.


I never had such a pathetic and unprofessional experience in my life.


SO I WOULD ADVISE TO BEWARE AND STAY 100KM AWAY FROM HDFC FROM ANY KIND OF SERVICES.
