This is regarding the Policy No. 12925422 which my mother purchased on 27/may/2009 Name Mrs. . Rashmi Joshi Policy Name:HDFC Standard life Insurance Policy thru agent name Mr. Siddharth Joshi . She paid 3 Installment of 20, 000 Rs, but due to some financial issues she stops paying and didn’t pay the installment for year 2012 & 2013 .
On 20/06/2013 She received the cherub of 19085.33 from Hdfc, on investigation we get to know that HDFC have terminated the policy without any intimation and refunded 19095.33 against 60, 000. So I inquire with my Policy Agent as per him he said that he will be calling Delhi Branch.
So on 22 /06/2013 I received a call from HDFC Delhi Branch from Mrs. Kritika Desai Contact Number 08588938724 for renewal as per her she asked me to return the cheque of 19, 095.33 and additional cheque of 20, 000 and deduction of 1095 rupees which is the interest. So the Final amount of DD which she asked her to submit was 38, 000.
So I send the cheque for same, but they refused the cheque stating to provide Demand Draft against it . I send the Demand Draft of 38, 000 Demand Draft Number 334851 on 29/06/2013 .
She asked me to pay the entire missed installment to renew the Policy so I paid another Installment of 19000 on 11/07/2013 Transaction Reference number 098585051007 and 20, 000 on 31/10/2013 Demand Draft Number 809928.
She asked me to send all the cheque against HDFC LIFE . On 5th March 2015 we visited HDFC Standard Life Insurance as we need money so thought to close the policy. But we were shocked to know as per them no amount have been submitted, Amount in her account was showing 0.
Similar Demand Drafts were submitted against the Policy number 16164987 against Avinash Ramapati Tripathi.
Kindly advice what is going on and get this resolved .
