I’ve been using Head and Shoulders for many years and have lived through the times when the fragrance was, quite frankly, quite repellent.
It now has a perfectly acceptable fragrance which as far as I’m concerned is better than a quirky fragrance - who wants to go around smelling of squashed mangos or bubblegum or whatever.
In terms of its effectivenes, I can’t beat it. Once or twice I’ve been tempted by the cheaper supermarket versions (you know - the ones which immitate the look on the Head & Shoulders bottle)and it has always been a disaster. The thing I noticed the most is how they seem to leave my hair feeling heavy and lack-lustre - as if I haven’t managed to wash it all out. I haven’t ever found out if they keep the dandruff at bay because I switch back to the more expensive Head & Shoulders within a few days.
This shampoo should not be left out of any bathroom cabinet as in my opinion no other shampoo clears dandruff.
It is suitable for all hair types and has a sweet smell which lasts all day unlike some sampoos...
