Yoga under medical guidance& your medical history

Here I want to site an example where Medical Practioners are also acting as Yoga Guru. They have themselves learnt Yoga from Swamy Ram Deo ji or other yoga Gurus.

I just want to differentiate between a yoga guru who after learning yogic kriya teaches you and get yogabhyas from you under his guidance. He does not know any thing about human Anatomy, Medical problems like High BP, Diabetes, Depression but claims that he will get it cured by yoga. And when you ask him how he can cure, he can not answer.

On the other hand a Physician who had passed atleast MBBS and knows modern and present generation medicines, will first of all examine your real medical problem. Those who say that Cancer by Yoga can be cured, atleast I dont believe it and any physician or Surgeon will also not believe.A physiothyrapist who get done necessary exercises cures your various physical problems because he knows from where your problem has been generated and not the point on which you are suffering pain.

So I was comparing between a yoga guru and a yoga guru with medical knowledge.Obviously later one is better choice.

If you have high BP with loose motion tendency and you perform Kapal Bhanti yog abhyas, you will not only raise your BP and loose motion but you may faint too.For this you should squeez and release your stomach muscles in very slow motion and not more than 100 times in one sitting. Many people do it 400 times. This hits your spinal cord.

Similarly Anulom Vilom Pranayam where you close your one nozal and take breath from another open nozel, It should also be in slow motion otherwise this may raise your BP.

Even in Bhramri Pranayam you should do it only 3 times, otherwise your brain may affect adversely in longer period.

Swamy Ram Deo ji claims that when you squeez your stomach in Kapal Bhanti pranayam, your stomach muscles also release and squeezes and it activates your pancreas- responsible for maintaining your sugar level in blood. He is very much right in his saying. But excess may affect badly not only your pancreas but also your kidny too.

Some of the yoga directly hit your back when you bent down.If you are affected by slip disk or ciatica, you should never perform this pranayam.

Also Sheershan is also harmful for high BP and heart patient as it raises reverse blood circulation and excess blood circulation to your brain may cause brain vains stroke or paralytic stroke.

My sincere advice is yoga is very good for health but people should always perform it carefully under expert advice of their physican. If they feel high BP, should stop then and there
