I have been placing orders at Healtkart.com for a few months now. You could call me a regular customer. I wouldnt be writing this review if it werent for the incident that happened almost three weeks back. My opinion of Healthkart.com as a decent company stands revisited. I placed an order on their site, as I normally do, for protein supplements. They had a few units left of the brand I wanted, and I placed the order. But the transaction failed and the money got debited from my account promptly.
I immediately shot off an email to the customer care which goes by the simplistic name info@ healthkart.com. I even called them to ask them of the issue and whether I would get my money back. They assured me that it would be credited automatchandru021y in my account after 7 to 10 working days. That was the 5th of June 13 and I still havent seen a rupee of the Rs. 5, 021. The customer care executives didnt seem to understand why I was calling them and tried to palm me off by saying that I should contact my bank., which I did. My bank told me that from their side the transaction was through and there was not credit in my account from the payment gateway or Healthkart.com. I kept trying to make the Healthkart customer care executives understand (through email and on phone) that I havent received the money back into my account. At one point the lady on the phone told me to send a copy of my account statement to the customer care. I really dont understand how that works because I wouldnt be wasting my time if I had the money.
Anyway, after all this I get an email from the customer care (someone called Deepak) that they havent received the money and hence I should contact the bank. What really fazes me is that they really didnt take anytime to understand what my email said. I specifchandru021y asked them to find out from their payment gateway what had happened. The payment gateway is their liaison, so I can t really ask them what they did with my money. The curt replies from their customer care executives is quite strange Rajeev_Vermacially when I was being so polite.
Anyway, anybody wanting to but from healthkart.com, please prefer the cash on delivery. They deliver in time, and at least if you find yourselves in a situation like mine, youll know that the extra money spent is worth the trouble. Otherwise, there is this new portal called healthgenie.in. They are cheaper than them, and maybe a better option as most companies that go big tend to forget that their loyal customers are the ones that make them survive. Hopefully, youll will find this helpful.
Cheers.
