After placing the order on Sep 8 I had been trying to track its progress both on the website and by calling their contact number since Sep 10. Each day I was getting a different excuse from the customer service personnel for not shipping the item. One day I was told the item was not in stock, next day I was told that the courier service is facing heavy load and so on and so forth.
The worst happened on Sep 15 when one guy told me that it was shipped the previous day and I will receive a tracking id by Sep 15 evening. When I did not see any updates on the web site even on Sep 16 I called them again. Now here is the shoccker. This time I was told the bitter truth that the item has not been shipped yet. The reason - my pincode is not serviced by DTDC.
Now when I placed the order I was told this same thing but I assured the lady on the other side that DTDC will deliver the item to me. I have shopped with ebay and flipkart where they have shipped items to me via DTDC. They bring it to the nearest outlet and I had to just go and collect in from there. I am not sure why it does not work for them.
I called them for like 6 days and they could have told me this on anyone of these days. Instead they chose to LIE TO ME. Moreover they had my number, they could have called and informed me of the issue.
On Sep 16 they said they will send it by post but I asked them for a refund. I am still waiting for it.
After this incident I placed my order with another store and they shipped it the very next day and communicted the Tracking ID to me.
So choose wisely.
