How to lose weight in a Healthy way

Now that the summer is in full force its the ideal time to loose weight and its relatively easy to do that because of the extreme heat one cannot consume very oily and heavy types of food and because of the heat one tends to drink lots of liquids.


I had attended with my friends a two weeks program of siddhi samadhi yog known as{SSY} Program .There they teach a lot of things like yoga, meditation, raw food culture which types of food to eat and which to avoid but I was immensely attracted about their raw food culture and I would like to share some of my experiences of ssy with all my mouthshut friends here


I would like to introduce to everybody the raw food culture through which we can lead a very healthy and a happy life and also loose quite a few kgs in this process now


what is raw food? Any natural food that is not cooked is called raw food example; Nuts fruits Vegetables Sprouts grains and cereals we can right away start eating raw foods but the change should be gradual from cooked food to raw food. First you should try to eat raw foods only one time of the day whichever suits you at lunch or dinner but continue eating cooked food also as the body may become weak by only eatings raw foods then gradually increase the intake of raw food more and more in your diet.Raw foods should also compromise of nuts like groundnuts almonds walnuts etc, sprouts of all variety you can sprout anything like moong, chana green chana etc fruits and vegetables only bananas to be avoided to include various types of salads, all fresh fruit juices only no tin ones .Also decrease you intake of tea and coffee.And drink herbal tea whose recipe I have given below.


Herbal Tea

Things needed; 2 portions roasted dhania{coriander seeds} 1portion roasted jeera{cummin seeds}1portion roasted saunf [aniseed]ginger juice honey water


Procedure

Powder dhania jira saunf in a mixer cool it and store it in an airtight container .this mixture can be used for many days but first donot make more see how you like the taste of it{guys take help of your mummy girlfriends here}{girls you can make them yourself] Now boil some water add 1 fullteaspoon of roasted powder mentioned above add ginger juice honey as per taste .If desired you can add milk otherwise  w/o milk also the tea tastes just fine.


Breakfast

Should consist of brown bread sandwiches which include any amount of tomatoes, cucumbers beetroot green chutney [NO BUTTER. NO CHEESE JAM SOMETIMES] low fat cereals which are available in supermarkets nowadays sometimes you should eat Pova sometimes Dalia{broken wheat]If confused buy some cookbook of any author from the bookstores.drink fresh fruit juices eat any amount of carrots


Lunch

here again I am giving only one variety the rest you can use your imagination


Peas and Beans

wash and dice carrots pineapples apple boiled potatoes cut french beans. Mix all ingredients in a glass bowl then put 1 cup thick fresh curds powdered pepper and mustard sugar and salt as per taste then decorate with finely chopped mints hey your full meal is ready you may combine it with some salad juice sprouts.


Dinner

Same as lunch now this time eat some sprouts mixed with capsicums and tomatoes sometimes include some paneer[COTTAGE CHEESE] also which is very healthy


Things to be avoided


-


Rice white bread all fried foods chips Soft drinksCakes dessertsCHOCOLATE


Continue with your other exercises like walking jogging dancing swimming aerobics gym etc


Lastly  I would like to conclude here do not attempt to go 100% on raw foods do it gradually or always consult your doctor first .Donot ever think that you are doing a rawfood diet. This should be you your way of life whenever you feel like itEnjoy the goodness of all natural foodsand see how your weight goes down and how calm and relaxed you are
