I bought a package for honeymoon for Kerala from Heart Holidays (HH) in Vile Parle W in 2009 Feb. We had requested for all 3-5 stars hotels and cruises. We paid as much was asked without a penny to bargain. And our trip starts with air tickets being completely wrong. We had clearly requested for Kingfisher airlines and not Kingfisher Red and had paid more than 19000 /- for 2, only for the tickets. Even after mentioning multiple times before we bought the package they gave us the Kingfisher Red tickets just 3 days before our marriage and when asked about it we were requested Rs 6000/- more. When we landed in Cochin we were expecting a the car we had asked and paid for and we found a small Indica. Upon asking they said we will change it further.
The local tourist guy informed the A/C is not added in the package. Well after a small argument with HH we got that fix. But we continued with the same car till the end of our trip. On the third day when we were supposed to get into a House Boat it was a disaster.
This was an extremely cheap and completelty undone House Boat. We were shown the pictures and Amenities before buying the package and it was completely different. I still have the pics of the House boat sent to us. My husband insisted that we get another one but we wasted 2 1/2 hours arguing with them.
On asking locals we found that it was worth 2000/- and we had paid 9000/-. After long fights and arguments with HH and spending half of the day of our honeymoon they asked us to get a houseboat we need in that range and HH will refund us the money there. When we reached the Hotel 3 on Sixth day, they did not have Meals package with it. we had to pay for it separately and we were told by HH that it would be refunded. And since we wanted to leave one day before schedule we asked the Manager of the hotel and he said that your money would be refunded to your tour agent and you can collect from there. So we confrimed the same from HH and left.
Then starts the fun part of getting our money back on what we had spent extra. It was a complete disaster. The representative, employees and the boss Viresh are complete Cheats . We were being promised multiple times in few months that they will give it as the hotel had confirmed to us they have refunded the money back. Infact at some point in the arguement I was also shown some hidden prints on refund and had to wait for 90 days. Even after 90days of wait they did not give a paisa. There were no sign from them to return my money. And finally he said that we won’t give me the money and I can try and do whatever I can.
I recommend to all who are reading this not to buy a package from Heart Holidays. This is not only because I lost my money but I can never have good memories about my honeymoon.
