Heineken has got to be the Best Beer in the world considering the fact that the sameA Yeast is used till date to produce Heineken that was used way back in 1800s.
Very interesting fact is that it was the First Beer to be imported to India for the british way back in the late 1800s.
It HAS to be served at Sub Zero temperatures to get the best taste. Very few Outlets have Sub Zero cooling systems though.
The cheapest places to try Heineken in Bombay are Masalakraft in bamdra, Cafe Universal in Fort, Hawaiian Shack in Bandra, Cafe Mondegar in Colaba & Cafe Leopold in Colaba. Rest of the Restaurants / Pubs have priced it too high. The MRP is 130 per Can/Bottle of 330 ml but the Restaurants get it at approx 107 after VAT. Really nice to see Outlets such as mentioned above who price the product for the consumer to enjoy.
Now that it will be brewed locally is a let off since the imported stock available in India through Sonarys Co Brands is simply amazing.Hope the Imported segment is not shut down.Cheers!
