King Nagarjuna’s younger lad Akhil made his debut with the movie akhil which didn’t perform well at the box office. But this time Akhil teamed up with talented director Vikram K Kumar and came up with his new love and action thriller movie Hello. So much of promotion is being done by Nagarjuna as he is the producer and as a father he wants to establish his son Akhil as one of the best actors in telugu film industry. Kalyani Priyadarshan has made her debut as a heroine, though she is not glamorous but she did justice to the character that has been designed as per the story demand. Lets analyse the film in detail.
STORY: Seenu ( Akhil) is an orphan with no body special in his life to whom he can have an emotional relation but as a magical tribute Junnu ( Kalyani Priyadarshan) enters his life. The entire story starts with the childhood relationship between seenu and junnu. Both seenu and junnu get connected emotionally. They have a happy childhood together. But as it happens in every story, both seenu and junnu gets seperated due to some reasons. After somany years seenu gets a family as he was adopted by Ramakrishna and Jagapathi babu in the movie. One fine day seenu gets to know about junnu through a phone call and he starts searching for her and the only clue or tool which could take him to her love or childhood crush is his mobile phone. But to add up the spice of action thrill at this juncture in the film seenu’s phone gets stolen somehow. Who stole the phone and could seenu find her childhood crush or not, and what other challenges did he face in his journey of finding his love is the story.
PERFORMANCE: Akhil got a very good character to perform well as seenu in this movie and he did everything that could make the film a best one. He did a great applauding job in performing the most difficult stunts. Coming to the debutante Kalyani who did the female lead in this movie as junnu, she was not that glamorous but still decent and cute. She managed to deliver a decent performance and she proved that she possess good acting skills. Ramakrishna as Akhils mother in this movie did a splendid job, she created a great emotion which connects the audience with the movie. Jagapathi babu did well as usually in father character. Ajay’s acting in a negative role was good but he couldn’t bring out a big villainous emotion in the movie. But he did a good job with all the acting experience he had.
POSITIVE POINTS:
Akhil’s acting is a plus for this movie.

NEGATIVE POINTS:
Lack of proper chemistry between the lead pair can be observed at certain point of time in the movie, which spoiled the emotional depth of the story.
Slow pace of narrating the story is a little bit boring and it tests our patience to some extent.
The second half of the movie is not that gripping and interesting.
Lack of enough comedy in the movie is the biggest lacking factor in this cute love story, otherwise it could have been a good movie.
PRODUCTION VALUES: As the movie is produced by King Nagarjuna under Annapurna banner hence the movie involved great richness at each end every scene in the movie. Great sets were designed for different scenes and the efforts of the art director should be appraised. The action scenes were extremely superb and gripping and the entire credit goes to Bob Brown, the action director. The music composed by Anup Rubens is a big asset for the movie, every scene and every moment in the story was elevated to the next level by his music, the songs were really awesome and melodious. The cinematography by P.S.Vinod was really appreciative, he creates magic with his skills in every frame of the movie.
DIRECTION: Director Vikram Kumar proves again why he is one of the most successful director. The way he connects different dots in the movie is the best part in the movie. Every time and in his every movie he involves something new, this time the new action sequences he introduced are of novelty. His keen interest in movie making can be witnessed in every scene he directed. Overall, hello is a good love and romantic movie with new kind of action stunts and thrill. The proceedings of love story in the movie can be slow but it involves some magic and novelty which impresses the audience. A class audience will definitely enjoy the movie and the mass audience may miss some entertainment but the action sequences are of a great relief to them.
