I had a very bad experience of DMC ludhiana.Imagine a situation where management issues, possibly over financial matters, arise between the hospital administration and doctors just before surgery. Picture this: my surgery was scheduled, and I was instructed to check in on the previous day. We arrived at DMC Ludhiana only to be met with a series of delays. Despite repeated assurances that a room would soon be available, we faced constant excuses about insurance issues causing the hold-up. Eventually, we were assigned a room after enduring lengthy paperwork and a substantial advance payment.
The room itself was in poor condition, with a noisy bathroom door, but that wasnt the primary concern. After checking in, various doctors conducted routine pre-surgery checks, and everything seemed to be on track. However, just before the procedure, I was informed that due to unresolved issues between management and the surgeons, the surgery was canceled. We were told to go home, leaving us in complete shock.
This lack of consideration for the patients emotional state and the preparations already made is inexcusable. If this had been a more critical surgery, the consequences could have been dire. Despite having surgery performed at another hospital, my advance payment of five lakh rupees remains unrefunded even after two weeks. Given this experience, I would strongly advise against choosing DMC Ludhiana.
