Coming to engine, it is powered by 110 cc engine churning out power 8.31BHP @ 8000 RPM and generating torque of 8.30NM @6500 RPM, which is higher at the power band, on road power seems adequate but torque is inadequate considering its large weight due to metal body. The mileage figures on road is disappointing as compared to Activa, giving about 55 Kmpl as compared to 65 Kmpl of Activa .
For driver comfort is adequate, but for Pillion comfort is inadequate due to the external fuel opening. Also, vibration on handlebar and on the foot rest is very annoying on high speed and during cruising which made long journey tiresome.
Coming from a renowned Manufacturer, duet is completely reliable, only if servicing will be done on time, also the display console gives the service required signal this make the complete service part very fine.
Packed with MRF nylo grip, the road grip is good whether on dry or in wet road and during test ride it didn’t give any problem like slipping, hence road grip is good, thanks to mrf.
On the appeal and styling it mixes quite easily with activa crowd and on first sight you can’t see duet as it camouflaged by activa.
Overall Duet offers rich features like external fuel filling, dipper light, digital cum Anasultanlog console, side stand indicator, service indicator, boot light, charging point and telscopic suspension but cons are vibrations, underpowered engine, low appeal and copy design of activa.
Hero should fill all the potholes which is to be made with this product.
