Hello mouthshut friends, hero moto corp has entered deep in 110 cc scooters with the overwhelming duet.This is a BS-IV vehicle with AHO[ Automatic Headlight On].
Engine÷
It is an 111cc automatic scooty producing 8.31bhp of power at 8000rpm and 8.30Nm of torque at 6500rpm.Duet has four stroke single cylinder engine.
Mileage÷
Company has claimed 63.8 kmpl of mileage but it gives me 50 to 55 kmpl of mileage which is quite good.
Comfort÷
Duet is very easy and smoothee to drive on bad roads , due to its telescopic suspension almost heavy jerks are absorbed. Coshioning of seat is nice , moreover the seats are wider and longer.
Space÷
It has a box like space under the seat where you can keep helmet or carry bags and other stuff easily.An ample of leg room to the rider, so great for a tall person.
Ride quality÷
Handling this scooter is easy due to its light weight.Taking sharp turns are quite accurate.
The engine does not sound much at high speed if their are regular sevice being done.
Additional features÷
Duet has got an usb charging port and small light under the seat.It has got both analogue and digital metre making it convinient.The fuel lid opener os place just above the tail lamp and can be easily opened by ignition key by putting it in the handle.
What I am not satisfied is with the price .It is around 2000 rupees costlier than honda activa 4G.I expected a little less price of the duet.
My recommendation÷
This scooty is very good in features , brand , handling and after sales service.If you can afford to pay a little more for duet , than it is totally recommended by me.
