I bought a Hero Ezee SX in Nov 2002. Looked good to start with. It has unmatchable boot space, which is useful for shopping trips, foor eg it can take upto 5 kg atta or 7 kg potatos with ease, not to mention the space for parking 2 bags at the feet. But the problem with Ezee is 2 fold:
Problem 1. Very often the scooter does not restart, either with the Self ignition nor with the kick. Then you have to lug it all the way to the garage, where u will encounter problem 2.
Problem 2. The carbourettor is at an unreachable interior, so much that you have to open 15 screws just to touch it, so the repair shop would just not touch the scoter after the first two trips.
Problem 3. The Self ignition went phut within a year so it is only kick now.
Problem 4. The Headlight is too dim, making the vehicle dangerous to drive at night on unknown roads, many a time it has not been able to pick up raod bumps, where my family members have been seriosly injured.
My advice to scooterette buyers is: Wait till Hero Motors get some expertise with scooterettes, they can make only Hero Puch etc. Till then buy somethig else.
