I had purchased Hero Glamour from Madhapur showroom in Jan’2014 and completed 3500 KM’s. It’s really bad choice, I strongly regret my choice. Here are the disadvantages why not to buy:
After first service I got strange noise from engine and they replaced crankshaft.
Noise from disc break not yet cleared after 4rth service.
Worst gear shifting and still problematic. Gear from 4 to 3 or 2 is really problem.
Back shock absorbent are pathetic in this bike. Really worst in Hero almost all bikes.
Poor Mileage and not that much good handling. Getting 45-48 after 4rth Service( Maintained vehicle speed at 45-50KM most of the time, air pressure updated & on time service)
Seat is not good aligned properly, should take break after 15 km’s ride, otherwise definitely will lead to back ache.
After Hero merged with Motocop, single vehicle in the market excellent technically.
I believe Hero era is end.
Free service is nothing but oil change and water service in most of the showrooms.
My better choice is Honda Shine or Unicorn. In Shine also there is Chain spoke problem after every 10000 Km’s but Unicorn is performance is evergreen.
Look some what better than Shine and had Digital Meter for fuel and KM’s count only.
