I have been riding the motorcycle for about two years now and I must say that it has not given me what I had expected.
In the looks department, the motorcycle does a fair job. The bike looks aggressive from the front, though its aggressiveness is quite tamed down as one considers the bigger picture. The colour schemes are also good for this bike.
The seat is a one piece continuous unit and provides a comfortable ride even with a pillion.
The seating position is upright and the mirrors are well adjustable to meet requirements.
The area where the bike really scores is its fuel efficiency. It easily gives a mileage of around 50kmpl in the city and 55 kmpl on the highway. This means that one can ride the motorcycle without burning a hole in his pocket.
The area where the motorcycle just fairs is the performance. The bike stalls even in the second gear if it is slowed down a bit. This is because of a very poor low end torque. The mid range is also not good enough and the bike practically does not do speeds above 90km/hr. I do know that it is only a 125 cc machine, but the Honda Shine does better in comparison. It has both a better low end and a top end than the Hero Glamour.
To sum it up, if fuel efficiency is your concern, go for this bike, but remember to compromise on performance. If I were you, I would have rayher gone for the Honda Shine than the Hero Glamour.
