I bought this bike on the recommendations of one of my friends who was driving an Ambition. I have driven my Ambition for over 45, 000 Kms in the past two years since I got this bike and till date my ambition has driven smooth through all seasons. After having driven this in peak Summers in Delhi, Thro over two feet of water logged road and in chilling winters. Some of the best features which I have noticed in my bike are as under:
Power: The bike has good power of 11 BHP and races very well. I remember being ahead of every other vehicle after a red light turned green. Even now after riding the bike for close to half a lakh, It still has the same feel of power, though not what it had earlier but better than other new 125cc bikes.
Mileage: My ambition has always given me a good average of over 65 Km pl on a liter of petrol. After 45000 Kms the average has come down to 64Km pl on premium petrol.
Comfort: The shockers of the bike are excellent, the best in class. I drove a TVS victor once and its suspensions are nowhere close in ride quality to that of an Ambition. Infact in my profession I need to drive a lot and I have driven for 4 - 5 hours in a day at times.
Maintainance: I love my bike and have got it serviced regularly every month or every 2000 Kms. No major parts have been changed only a few oil seals and a valve over 45000 Kms means that this bike is a very low maintainance bike.
What I like in the bike: Overall I like the power and the ride quality of the bike which is the best in class. I have driven several other bikes as well like Splendor, Passion, TVS Victor, TVS Fiero, Freedom, etc however this bike produces the least amount of noise amongst all the others. And in a span of two years, the bike has started in half a kick ALWAYS.
What I miss: A rev meter and a Tachometer would have been an added pleasure to the bike. The Tail Light is not stable as its casing has detached from the body and it does not look very good. The paint quality of teh bike was also not very good.
