Go for this awesome bike

I had purchased this awesome bike in 1999 . I use to drive my bike very cautiously , and carefully. Handling is good , fuel consumption is around 38 km/ltr in city and around 55 on highway. once I had managed to get it’s average around 61 km/ltr. but u will get this average only when u r driving in speed range of 50-55 km/hr , on top gear , minimum usage of cluth , good road conditions and on highway where u rarely have to shift gear or use cluth. The quality of HH is awesome.

I feel very proud to own this bike and really in past 11 years I had taken care of my bike like my own child . cost of spares is not more as in case of other bike manufacturers , also u can get easily its local parts , which cost as less as one fifth of price of genuine spares . for ex it’s disc pad genuine part cost around 700 rs. but u can use disc pad of Makino( a well known brand of brake pads ) which is rs. 90 only. genuine silencer costs more than 5000 rs . but u can buy local at rs. 1500 only.

But my suggestion is to buy only genuine parts in case of engine internal defective parts like clutch plates , timing chain , piston, etc., but for the external parts of bike like brake shoe , rim drum, silencer , brake levers , mirrors , cluth wire , race wire u can use local parts . cost of ownership is also less only if u drive the bike carefully n nicely . Rest how your bike performs depends on your riding skills. Iam waiting for new model of CBZ as want to purchase another bike for my brother . It’s old model is fantastic but new cbz extreme is not very appealling in looks although it is wonderful in performance but not wonderful lookwise . So waiting for past 2 years for the new dashing model of CBZ.
