I saw a cbz while in my school times. Totally took my heart away. it was the bike I wanted when I get into 18. I collected the pics of cbz from magazines and where ever I can get the pics. I grew up seeing my fathers Royal Enfields , yes dies, Rd 350 and a Honda 250 bike(twin cylinder and self start ) that he kept on garage for a long time.but he was a great bulleteer who loved bullets .the bullets , padminis , and Contessa were the other rides that gave me colours in my childhood.
I found a cbz as 2nd hand and made a world war as my proposal of cbz got rejected. finally my papa understood the dream of a teenager. after 2 months waiting period for 18 , I got the cbzs keys along with Bday gift Contessa classic. I was a rider who never ride than 80 km / hr and I got a mileage of 40 kms in speed riding conditions, how ever I ridden top of 120 kms / hr when it got some performance mods. At the normal rides I got the mileage of 51 km / l , used speed petrol and engine oil from castrol, never got issues from engine or any other parts , I bought and sold 3 cbz s in the time. every time I ride cbz, i felt the feelings of the 1st ride my cbz . so much reliable, charming bike I loved.and still loving.
The riding position is sporty, this bike opened the choice for the 150 + cc bikes when 100 cc bikes ruled amoung youngsters that time. the torque band is pretty sweet and overtakings can be really enjoyed in a Cbz with the help of Tpfc technology by pumping throttle for the second pump bike show what it really is.. but with mileage compromised by doing all the time. Anyway I had beautiful experiance with my cbzs except the spare prices and costly & crap service of hero honda. I uploaded pics of 2 of m cbzs here. my regular bike and stunt bike
