After clocking 10, 000+ KMs, here is my third review of CBZ-X. Till date Im very well satisfied with my bike. The best part of the bike are:
Muscular looks with unique embedded indicators. Its big, heavy and unique and has a comfortable sitting posture. Even when you go on long drives, it wont leave your arm paining.
Stable engine, smooth gears. Linear acceleration and starts in single kick.
Very good balance..even at slow speeds. It has got one of the largest wheel base (very near to Karizma).
Very good fuel efficiency (easily 50+ kmpl) in Bangalore city traffic. Run it in 40-50 range and youll surely get it. Still its pretty subjective and may vary for you.
Good build quality. The quality of material used is good including paint, accessories like horn. mirrors etc.
Service is OK. I am getting my bike serviced at Millennium Motors, Domlur, Bangalore.
Not so good are rear brakes which would make you nervous many a times. But I think you can get used to them. Besides the gear liver is single sided so it harms your shoes. HH have not got rid of removing pedal before starting your bike with kick. Thats frustrating.
Buy it if you believe in performance and brand and if you dont just look for only style and beauty.
Dont buy it if you are short in height (< 170). This bike is bit tall and you may find it difficult to ride otherwise.
Now if you make a comparative study in 150cc segment, you have difficulty in choosing the "best". Id say there is no perfection, so you have to assume some compromises. But this could be your choice. Its a good value for money and comes with a venerable name Hero Honda.
