This is my first review of my CBZ Extreme on MS. Bought this bike 2 years ago & very much happy with it. Always tried to keep her below 90 KMPH but everytime I failed !!. On the highway, it cruises past any other vehicle like a breeze and in city driving she behaves as if a toddle baby who has just learnt her first lessons from her mom !
In my point of view, I drive her upto 80KMPH and then after 80, I just ride till speedometer needle shows some illegal speeds. My colleagues joke as sometimes my bike comes to office before I arrive !!.
Upto 2 years, I encountered no problems, whatsoever... with her. Not even a single puncture !! But now I have below mentioned problems & feeling very very bad as no proper servicing is done I think !!. I kindly request you for your suggestions to keep her alive !!.
Some 20-25 days back, the front tube got punctured. Instead of repairing, I replaced the whole tube. For the first time, the bike got serviced by Castrol Bike Zone, as it was very close to my home. I dont know what has triggered, but now my bike has started wobbling. Even a single small stone on the road makes my bike wobble like anything.
Got serviced as Hero Honda showroom, but still the problem is there. They did some greasing work at swing arm bolt , but the problem is still there. Showroom guys asked me to change the rear tyre, tube. I did it instantly. but still the problem persists.
Everybody, everytime gave some opinion, but the bike is refusing to make me go in a straight line. Since 24K kilometers are done, should I replace my front tyre, tube also ?? Does the oil in the front shock absorbers lose their viscocity after 2 years ?? Should I replace that oil ?? Or is there some serious problem like chassis losing its stiffness ???......
I kindly request you all to help me out. I can pay any amount to get her repaired. My bike never been through any accident & I keep her in mint condition. After 2 years also, HH showroom guys evaluated my bike for 42K once !! (just for the information).
Has anybody of you have had such problems, please let me know. Any suggestion is highly appreciated. On the highway or city driving , among all the vehicles, I feel a lot safer when I am on my CBZ !!. I am eagerly waiting. Please help me.
( By the way, I read many times, that the bike vibrates at around 60KMPH but again drives very smooth after 70KMPH. Castrol Bike zone people repaired it within no time saying that the engine mounting bolts need to be tightened. Now the bike doesnt vibrate as it used to do earlier !!, suggestions are welcome )
