I bought this New Hero Xtreme (front disk only) on 1st March, 2013. It has self as well as kick start. At the beginning I was getting a mileage of 40 up and after my 1st servicing at 570 km I am getting a mileage of 50 up. I am driving it at a constant speed of 50 to 55 kmph so that after 1500 km I can get a mileage of 55 to 60 up. At 1500 km the engine become familiar with the environment. It has a great sitting comfort and fabulous style.
My bike’s handle used to vibrate and jump when I drive it at 50 kmph. I went to the showroom with this complaint and they have solved it. The handle was vibrating due to impoper adjustment of the handle and it was jumping bcoz it has excess air in the wheels. Front should have 28 and rear should have 35. it will solve the jumping problem with great mileage. It is a A-class bike with a instant speed of 0 to 60 in 5 sec.
Many ppl may like diff bikes bt trust me u should have a test drive on it. I just love my Hero Xtreme 150cc bike (my black beauty) and my gf loves it to for its looks and sitting comfort. I give it 110 out of 100. Go for it.
